What is a “postpaid / 上台” plan vs prepaid?

“上台” means a 24-month postpaid contract with a fixed monthly fee, data and voice as listed, and the number registered under your name.

Prepaid is pay-as-you-go, usually more expensive long-term. If you’ll stay, study or need a stable HK number, postpaid is typically better value.
